I have a few bits of exciting news on the horizon, but in the meantime I’m practically out of breath working on new projects, making new things, and generally preparing for events. See you next time there’s an eye to the storm!

The next two months will see me and my wee wonders popping up all over the place! Here’s a rundown of places you can catch me, both online and off:

• I’m a sponsor of Heart Handmade this month. It’s such a lovely blog, full of great picks and features for craft and fashion.
• On Saturday, November 22, I’ll be at the Holiday Design Bazaar, benefitting Buen Dia Family School, at a.Muse Gallery, 614 Alabama St., San Francisco, from 12-6pm.
• And the next day, Sunday, September 23rd, I’ll travel across the Golden Gate (with eneefabricdesign in the backseat!) and offer my wares at the Sonoma Artisan Faire, from 12-5:30pm, at the Sonoma Veterans’ Hall, 126 First Street West, Sonoma, CA. There are going to be more than FIFTY totally rockin’ artisans and crafters vending at this event!
• Please take a moment to check out all the great artists over at Handmade in California, of which I’m just one small part. It’s a wonderful resource to find local artists and craftspeople.
• On Sunday, November 30th, I’m going to be joining a bunch of lovely ladies from the SFEtsy Team, at our group’s table at Bazaar Bizarre. The fair, located in the County Fair Building at Golden Gate Park, San Franciso, runs from 10am-5pm. We’re going to be switching out our goods throughout the day, so if you don’t catch me the first time, check back later in the day for a whole new group of vendors.
• Then, in December, I’m going to be listed in the Modish Holiday Marketplace!
• On Saturday, December 13th, I’ll be vending at the Root Division Christmas Island Getaway Sale, from 7-10pm, at 3175 17th Street, San Francisco. It’s going to be a great event. Complete with polar bears.

And…that’s it for now! After the craziness of the holidays is over, I hope to get back to having the time to feature lots of other artists in this blog again.

I’m currently working with a bunch of Etsy folks on possibly having a holiday craft fair. I will of course be posting updates on that as things develop, but for now there isn’t much to say. I’ve contacted a few venues and have gotten no response so far. It’s very frustrating, but I will try my best to be patient.

Speaking of craft fairs, I will also be sharing a booth with several other members of SFEtsy at Bazaar Bizarre, at the San Francisco County Fair Building, Sunday, November 30th. I will be there for the second half of the day. Hope to see you there!

I was going to call this entry “Buttoning Up” but it’s been way too hot to think about buttoning anything up at all! I’m totally slacking today because it’s so warm. This weather makes me all droopy.

But anyway, after having the poor little bisqued guys sitting on my shelf for a while, I finally got a big batch of buttons (so many b’s!) glazed and fired, and they’ve been finding their way into the shop this week. I made some more of the little shanks, plus some neato new designs, based on some vintage buttons I’ve been collecting. Here’s a sampling:

Speaking of Orin, he has lots of new photos from my last two craft fairs!

First there was the Renegade Craft Fair: San Francisco, where I, along with many other SFEtsy members, helped to stock the Etsy booth with lots of crafty goodness.

Here’s my display, with handcranked‘s also visible in the background. We were right by the entrance–it was so exciting!

And next. only two weeks later, there was the SFEtsy Handcrafter’s Faire, at the home of Linda Davis Designs.

Napkin rings — more goodies to watch out for in my store!

I made a lot of new beads for this event, only some of which are seen here. There are also lots of new buttons, slightly to the left of what you can see here.

And probably my most exciting new project, this is a display of my Poem Drop Pendants–wee little ceramic droplets stamped with phrases or lines from poetry. These should start trickling into my shop today!

These last two craft fairs were fun, but I will be taking a break from public events for a while, to finally make time to organize all my small business registration gobbledegook. I will be doing some fairs in the fall/winter, hopefully, and in the meantime, I will have more time to devote to my online shops!

(“Shops”? Yes, there’s a plural now, because although I pretty much opened and then ran out of time to devote to it, I now also have a shop on the Euro-based site Dawanda, which will hopefully make my items more accessible to international customers, as well as those closer to home!
